JVC Professional are pleased to announce the launch of our new 600 series ENG cameras. Unveiled at NAB in Las Vegas these two compact yet feature packed camcorders offer a faster and leaner ENG workflow designed to keep up with the ever accelerating world of news broadcasting. The GY-HM600 features JVC’s best ever low light sensitivity of f/12 at 2000 lux, along with 3 full-HD sensors, multi-format support, a fixed wide-angle 23x autofocus zoom lens and a host of features for news, sport and independent production.
And heralding the arrival of a new, more efficient ENG experience, the GY-HM650 mobile news camera includes all these features plus dual codecs to simultaneously record full HD to one memory card and smaller web-friendly files (1/4 HD) to another, plus built-in FTP and Wi-Fi connectivity to get the footage back to the studio at the push of a button. With these two new ProHD ENG cameras from JVC it will soon be possible to shoot and deliver news footage faster than ever, meaning you can be the first to tell your story as it breaks.
The GY-HM600 and GY-HM650 ENG cameras will both be available in the second half of 2012 – for more information visit the website.
